We had the good fortune of connecting with Troublesome County and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Troublesome County, what is the most important factor behind your success?
As with anything in the creative world, the most important factor is always to stand out enough to be noticed. As long as you can accomplish this, there’s really no such thing as competition. There’s just doing your own thing while everyone else does their own thing; and when everyone is unique they can’t be compared, so there’s room for everyone to succeed.

Another thing that has always sort of set us up for success is a really good work ethic and determination to succeed. No matter what stages of life we’ve been in or changes we’ve experienced, we’ve never let anything get in the way of our music. We absolutely refuse to take no for an answer, even when musician life becomes a hard path to follow.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets us apart from other’s would have to be originality. We don’t strive to be like anyone else, originality is key in the music business.

We’ve got where we are by never losing hope and not taking no for a answer. It was not easy starting out, It’s very hard to be noticed in the Country Music scene. Most music venues/establishments won’t give you a chance unless you show them what you can do. There is so much talent out there and it’s hard to be discovered.

A major lesson we have learned along the way is never to sell yourself short. If you know your talent and your capability makes sure you are compensated for your services fairly. Everyone who puts on a performance deserves to be payed.

We are currently recording outstanding new music and hoping to get it out as soon as possible. Of course all good things take time. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Obviously we want to thank our families and friends for their support and encouragement over the last few years. Thanks for showing up to our shows and being the loudest ones in the crowd, for wearing our merch and sharing our music and our story with everyone you meet, and for just taking an interest in something that consumes such a huge part of our lives. The love and support y’all have shown us means more than you’ll ever know.
