Meet Zhané Swanepoel | Owner/Founder at ZMC Designs

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zhané Swanepoel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zhané, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
It started at the age of 9, when my family realized my fascination with advertisements. I was able to memorize the dialogue of every television ad.

My love for marketing and all its creativity grew with time. What started as my biggest interest became my life purpose.

I not only fell inlove with the artistic side of marketing but with the creative minds behind every single brand or company we know.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
ZMC Designs started as a small agency, creating social media pages and is now considered as a mainstream marketing agency going beyond the conventional world of marketing and setting the standard.

We are marketing & hosting some amaizing events this year for high end clientele.

We have also been collaborating with international brands and companies.

I still feel like it all happened in the blink on an eye. One moment we were busy working until 4 in the morning and the next moment our blood, sweat and tears were rewarded.

I personally think the average person underestimates the effort and value marketing ads to their lifes, we have the power to inform and influence most consumer based decisions, this is a responsibility that my company takes to heart.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Constantly on the move with my business, my only downtime is with my kids or significant other at home , cooking ect.

I love any Italian cuisine and a good red wine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mentors and support systems are spread wide.

Growing up with absentee parents my entire family came together to create a beautiful support structure. I got raised with motivation and determination from every single member playing their part.

My significant other for the times I felt defeated, his encouragement gave me strength and my true inspiration my beautiful kids as a reminder to always stay true to yourself.
