We had the good fortune of connecting with Yesi Noyola and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yesi, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Some of the best memories I have are of my family celebrating birthdays together. In my family it’s not a party until you bust out the piñata! Everyone’s favorite part of course is diving onto the floor to grab the best candy. I would often have to go through extensive lengths to find an awesome piñata and Mexican candy in my area. The reason I opend Kandy Queen Dulcería is to make it easy for family’s to find the perfect piñata and Mexican candy for their celebrations in the heart of the metroplex.

What should our readers know about your business?
We have a vast selection of all your favorite sweet and spicy Mexican candy. From the classics like; mazapanes, pelones, pulparindos, and paletas payaso to all the traditional dulce de leche candies too. Take a trip down memory lane while you shop in our candy store, it’s sure to make you feel like a little kid again. At Kandy Queen Dulceria you’ll find everything is neatly organized and labeled. All the spicy candy is on the right side of the store and all the sweet candy is to the left of the store. The best part of the store is our huge piñata selection. We take pride in having the best piñatas in the metroplex and if you can’t find the perfect piñata we also do custom piñatas. Need to rent a bounce house, tables, and or chairs for your next event? Kandy Queen is a one-stop shop; making it easy and convenient for you to plan your next party.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely have them check out Kandy Queen Duleria. It’s a family-owned Mexican Candy Store. They are sure to find everything from their childhood favorites to the most popular spicy gummies and even all the classic Mexican souvenirs.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband is my biggest supporter and cheer leader. He has encouraged me and helped me every step of the way. Kandy Queen Dulcería would not be possible without his knowledge and insight. He is always looking for ways to improve our customers shopping experienc. If you ever see him working at the store give him a shoutout, you won’t miss him he’ll be the tallest guy there.
