Hi Yasmeen, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Lawyering is not a profession for me, but it is a life. Attorney’s job is to defend people and achieve justice to create a better life. When you work with a law firm, most likely, you will have to follow orders from the owner or the manager of the law firm, and this process will kill your passion. I decided to open my law firm because I want to care more about my clients and their rights, not what the law firm owner wants or decides. Owning a law firm will give you more opportunities to have compelling cases and determine your strategies for helping your clients. After having my law firm, I built stronger relationships with my clients. My goal is to help as many people as I can to get their rights and achieve justice. My law firm was created to help my clients, support them in their claims, and guide them through their claims. In our law firm, we represent our clients in their injury claims. Unfortunately, many people lose their rights just because of their ignorance of the law. My law firm’s mission is to help clients understand and protect their rights. I always record videos to help people understand the legal process and how it works, but sometimes clients need more than just the information. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this question because our life should not be just about work. We have families that we need to spend time with and friends with whom we would love to hang out and have a good time. Having kids besides working as an attorney can be challenging, but we always succeed in finding time to spend together exploring different places in Dallas and Texas. In Dallas, you can find many unique places and exciting stuff to do. For instance, I love to explore restaurants. Dallas has a variety of restaurants, cafes and entertainment places to visit. Going to the parks to barbeque is one of my and my family’s favorite things on the weekend.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It is a blessing to have family, a husband, children and friends to support you in every step you take toward achieving your dreams. I believe that everyone we meet in our life has something to do with our success or has a touch. We always need support to continue our life, and I was so lucky to have all the help from my family and friends. Without the support of my husband, my children and my family, my law firm would not exist today!
