Meet Yaneth Marmolejo | Treat Maker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yaneth Marmolejo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yaneth, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The key factors behind my success are determination, kindness, and perseverance. Many of my clients, after placing orders with me, often share similar feedback—highlighting the exceptional customer service I provide and my kindness. This has led to a loyal customer base, with many returning time and time again. Over the course of my work in making treats, I’ve received consistent praise, and it’s reassuring to know that my clients appreciate the quality of service. With each passing day, I continue to improve, and my work is steadily getting better.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I want to give a huge shout-out to my mom. This little business wouldn’t have even started without her encouragement. She initially motivated me to raise money for my sister’s tournament in Houston, and after our first sale, she saw the potential and pushed me to keep going. She encouraged me to expand by making strawberries, and even to this day, she continues to send me content ideas, order themes, and inspiration. Her support has been invaluable every step of the way. Along the way, she’s also helped me perfect my recipes. As a baker herself, she’s always kept her skills within the family and friends, but she’s generously shared her expertise with me to make my creations even better. Her guidance has been essential in refining what I do.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you’re in the Fort Worth area, I highly recommend checking out Dutch’s, a burger place near TCU. It has some of the best burgers I’ve had in the area. Another must-visit is Trinity Park, especially the Dream Park. It’s the best park in the area and has undergone many updates over the years. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl, and if you have kids, it’s definitely a place you should visit. If you’re looking for an event, I would also recommend checking out something at Dickie’s Arena, whether it’s related to the stock show or the rodeo. And of course, the Stockyards are absolutely beautiful and worth exploring!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
