Hi Whitney, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite affirmation is, “I am worthy of all my desires because they’re in my heart for a reason.” For me, it’s the words in this affirmation such as “worthy” and “desires” that hold so much power in this affirmation. I keep this one along with other affirmations posted in my bathroom to see every day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Presenting Journeys is an Independent Travel Agency of inteletravel.com. In 2019, I had just discovered the idea of running my own travel agency and launched my business in February of 2020. Helping my clients make more memories and bringing their travel dreams to reality excites me! My services don’t end soon as my clients have booked. I make sure to always support them from the beginning to the end of their trips. Establishing my travel business was one of the most challenging things I’ve had to do, because I had launched it right before everything was shut down from the pandemic. When traveling was limited, it was discouraging but I decided to use that down time as a learning opportunity instead. I’ve learned that you can always discover something you didn’t know about traveling each time you are planning journeys for any client. Now that the pandemic is coming to an end, I’m more than prepared to help others fall in love with travel all over again.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d probably start with brunch at Hero and dinner at Lolo’s chicken & waffles. Visit Hurricane Harbor for the day. Try to catch a Dallas Wings game or go late night bowling at Pin Stax.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to start with a shout out to Anybody who has booked with or supported my travel business in any way. My close family and friends who are also entrepreneurs. I want to shout out my sister in travel who introduced me to the industry, Rogandia Smith with Getaway Like Gandi. Plus everyone else who she has introduced me to along the way! Last but not least, I want to send a shout-out to my Fiance, Charlie! We just got engaged two months ago.
