We had the good fortune of connecting with Wendy Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wendy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe if you never take a risk you will always wonder what if. Throughout my life I have always taken the risk. I’ve learned alot from doing so. Some great things and some not so great but completely full filled knowing I at least tried, you will never know what you will loose or gain if you never make the move. My life has been completely changed by a risk I took when I started dating a Physician, that later became known as Dr Death. Now there’s a drama tv series and docuseries about parts of my life with during the first ever prosection of a physician for gross medical malpractice. Now I’ve become an advocate for women and have started modeling for clothing companies and have a tell all book coming. For every negative there is a positive. Only you can hold you back.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When the Dr Death podcast mentioned me, It turned my world into a very private life to a on screen drama series, then docuseries and the end result was me being a common household name upon airing in June instantly creating a public figure life overnight and at midnight I was all over google. It was overwhelming at first. That created positive future work for me that I created from a negative past. I empower women keep going even when you feel like giving up or life’s to much.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
