Hi Walter, how does your business help the community?
When I started The Walter Bruce Foundation, I saw the urgent need for food, shelter, and clothing for the unhoused—something often overlooked in daily life. Built out of love, our mission is to restore hope by providing food, medical care, and spiritual support. We help individuals seeking a fresh start, including those recently released from prison or struggling with hopelessness, reminding them they are seen, valued, and deserving of a second chance.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart is that my business is driven by passion and a deep desire to make a difference. I’ve sacrificed and restructured my priorities to stay focused on my mission, despite challenges like limited time, money, and resources. Along the way, I’ve learned that success requires a strong team who shares the same vision and values. The Walter Bruce Foundation is here to impact lives, touch our generation, and spread hope through the power of God.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d start the day at the Dallas Art Museum, then enjoy Italian at Taverna. Afterward, we’d head to The Shops at Legacy for drinks at Earls and a fun evening of shopping and ice cream.

I want to give a major shoutout to the volunteers of The Walter Bruce Foundation are resilient, dedicated, and driven by compassion. Their unwavering commitment to the community has been the heart of our foundation’s success.
