We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Macey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vanessa, what principle do you value most?
BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS, going the EXTRMILE, and having the UTMOST INTEGRITY is personally most important to me as a business owner.
I have 2 businesses and operating with integrity is what I hold dearest to my heart. It is hard to find trustworthy people that are willing to hold themselves to the highest standards. My first business is Naturally Pritty Hair Products (www.naturallypritty.com), where I sell my innovative hair oil, a potent henna-based oil, for easy application. I used this product to help my daughters and I grow our natural hair long. Henna is extremely nourishing and helps repair damage in the hair shaft. It is important to incorporate some of the “super ingredients” for hair growth and length retention to bring to others, ensuring a product that is natural, made with love, and I even use on myself and children.
My second business is called CAP Real Estate Investments LLC. This company was launched to create an umbrella for my real estate services. I manage rental units as a Landlord, I sell and lease real estate as a Licensed Texas Realtor, and I also contract with companies to perform closings as a Notary Signing agent. When managing properties, I make sure to create a desirable living environment updating items as I fit them in the budget, and immediately handling any maintenance issues, I treat tenants with respect and value and buy them a small Christmas gift every year.
As a realtor, I have worked with several families in an extremely HOT DFW market beating out other offers, LANDING DEALS for my clients, negotiating favorable terms, and INSURING A SMOOTH CLOSE. I am devoted to my clients to say the least.
As a licensed Realtor I have experience acting as a Fiduciary to my clients, demonstrating Obedience, Confidentiality, Loyalty, Accountability, Disclosure, Reasonable Skill and Care to all my clients and the same duties are provided to every contracting company I work with as a Notary Signing Agent.
What should our readers know about your business?
I have worked in Business Management and Operations Management before getting in to Property Management in 2015. After getting into Property Management I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY, completely immersing myself in real estate and never looking back. I obtained my CA real estate license in 2017. I have worked as a buyer’s agent, listing agent, I trained property managers, worked with owners, tenants, and in real estate project management and leasing.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and made one of my best life decisions and MOVED TO THE DFW AREA OF TEXAS in 2019 with my Husband and 3 Children.
I am now a proud Texas homeowner and Landlord and I have the pleasure of working with buyers and investors as a buyer specialist and investor specialist. HELPING TRANSPLANTS like ME, FIND THEIR SWEET SPOT IN THE DFW area of Texas, and HELPING INVESTORS NAVIGATE THE MARKET to find the property that meets their investment needs.

Because of my background in operations management, high level property management, and being a landlord myself I have the skill set to thoroughly assess the financial profile of a property, comparing gross rent multipliers and cap rates for current and proforma analysis so that you can move forward with CERTAINTY IN YOUR INVESTMENT.
Because of my background in customer service and business management I can also provide that detailed step by step service to keep you informed and help A FIRST TIME HOME BUYER MOVE FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love taking everyone to the Fort Worth Stockyards. I am from Los Angeles, but something about me always desired country living and nature! You can ride horses along the river, they have rodeos, good BBQ, fine dining, bar hopping, wine tasting, shopping, stuff for kids, Then I would switch it up and take them to the city at Grandscape in the colony, there is an array of good food, go cart racing, wine tasting, shopping, a theater, a huge Ferris wheel, and a huge lawn to hang out on.
There is also legacy hall in Plano, pretty much a 3-story food court that brews its own beer. They have live music in the garden box, and it is a whole vibe.
I would take them to the rough rider Stadium for a baseball game just because there is a freaking lazy river in the stadium.
Lastly, we must go to the gaylord hotel, the water parks, the atmosphere, the convention center and river walks is something you just have to see for yourself.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I named my Real Estate Company, CAP Real Estate Investments LLC., After my little brothers initials that passed away in 2014 at the age of 17, His Name was Christopher Aaron Palmer. I feel that he has been acting as my angel ever since he moved on and I truly believe my growth has something to do with him watching over me. So I am so blessed to have a little angel helping pave the way to make things happen. I kid you not things started moving in my life in 2015 and haven’t stopped since.
