We had the good fortune of connecting with Vandetta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vandetta, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My absolute favorite quote is, “The thing that you do with the least amount of effort is your gift from God, what you do with that thing is your gift back to Him.” I love this quote because it reminds us that God has gifted each person with specific talents and special gifts, things that they do effortlessly, and those gifts should not be wasted but used to be a blessing to the world.

I think about Kobe Bryant, he blessed the world by entertaining us with his God-given gift. But even though he was gifted in the sport of basketball he still needed to develop that talent which led to him becoming a champion and one of the greatest basket ballplayers of all time. I think that if we focus on what we have actually been gifted to do more people would live happier fulfilled lives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Well, my company name is V by Vandetta. It’s a faith-based beauty brand that specializes in helping women look and feel more beautiful from the inside out.

I provide my own line of high-performance beauty products plus virtual masterclasses teaching my signature beauty tips and techniques which are designed to help enhance a woman’s unique outer beauty and simplify her makeup routine. I also offer bible-based inner beauty virtual summits that uplift, inspire, and empower women and help them to break free from, low-self esteem, self-doubt, low confidence, fear, and limiting beliefs.

What sets V by Vandetta apart from other beauty companies is that we are more than just another makeup brand. We are makeup with a message. A message of Faith, Love, and Beauty Inside and Out!

We stand for (Beauty) – Embracing your own unique beauty & learning simple tips, tricks, and techniques to help enhance your best features and confidently apply your own makeup.
(Boldness)- Living life without fear but instead walking every day by faith believing that you were created for greatness.
(Self Confidence) – Saying goodby to all your insecurities, past hurts, rejection, and shame, and being confident in who God created you to be.
(Self Love) – Discovering your true value and self-worth and learning to love yourself and see yourself the way God sees you fearfully and wonderfully made.

My ultimate mission is to inspire, empower, and encourage women and help them to live bold, confident, beautiful lives!

Choosing to market my beauty business as faith-based was not a popular choice amongst some ney sayers, however, I stand 100% by my faith. God is good! I have personally experienced the transforming love of Jesus Christ in my own life and I am proud to share it with anyone who will listen.

The biggest lesson so far that I have learned is to trust the process and not try to jump ahead to where you “think” you should be.

I want the world to know that I am just an ordinary girl from Texas with an extraordinarily BIG dream that scares me! But, I heard a quote once that said, “if your dream doesn’t scare you, it’s not big enough!” So, I am choosing to dream big and build my beauty brand one day at a time believing that I will continue to impact and changes the lives of women around the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area first up on the itinerary would be the AT&T stadium, home of the one and only Dallas Cowboys. Go, Cowboys!! LOL!

We would definitely hit North Park mall for a day of shopping and spending way too much money! Next up would be the Reunion Tower for dinner at Wolf Gang Puck’s restaurant and afterward, we would check out the Dallas skyline from the Geo Deck at the top of the ball.

Another favorite spot of mine is the beautiful XOXO Dining Room in Dallas. The music, vibe, and aesthetics are beyond amazing and it’s also the perfect backdrop for best friend selfies! My absolute all-time favorite is the Dallas Arboretum. The botanical gardens are so beautiful, I could literally spend all day there. If we plan it right we could catch a weekend concert there as well.

Of course, we would probably end the week by visiting Uptown Dallas for tons of good food and the free vintage trolly ride!

I dedicate this shout-out to my beautiful mother Sheila Denard. She has always been my biggest cheerleader through my failures and triumphs. She has always uplifted me and encouraged me to keep going and to never give up.
