We had the good fortune of connecting with Tylor Savage and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tylor, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
When I was younger it was work all the time, more you work more money you get after all. But as I’ve gotten older and experienced more negative things, that has totally changed. Now its more important to have every second possible with family and friends. Life can change so fast, there’s no point in wasting time you have, for something you don’t truly need.

What should our readers know about your business?
We sell custom aluminum pergolas, with motorized louvers and plenty of accessories. They are awesome additions to any house or business. We only do custom orders so no “cookie cutter” sizes colors etc., so everyone and anyone can make there own piece of paradise in there backyards, patios, porches or where ever else you want to install one. So besides the custom aspect of our pergolas, customer service isn’t just a dept. or a little desk for us, its what we strive for with every order, treating every customer with the respect they deserve and go beyond what others would be willing to do. Each sale isn’t a number for us, its a little piece of us, our brand is personal and we make sure the customers love their pergolas.

Like most things in life, it found us. We just fell in love with it.

No not at all easy, but nothing worth while in life is easy, if it was what’s the value in it.

My brand is Me, my wife, our friends and family. Its blood, sweat, and tears. We will take care of you, as if you were our own. And for those that decide to order, welcome to the family.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Fort Worth have to say the Stockyards, our amazing Fort Worth Zoo, cant come here without having Fuzzy’s & Dutch’s Burgers and too many other restaurants to check out. Now if they are willing to drive with us, Have to take them to the Alamo, the Riverwalk, and then on the way back stop off in Austin take them to the Shiner’s Saloon, see if we can watch the bats. Truly, the moment you cross that state line into Texas its hard not to find amazing things, people, places only issue is a week wouldn’t be enough, but bet they wouldn’t want to leave.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wife, for supporting my craziness and somehow dealing with me. Plus motivating me to stay the course no matter what happens.
