We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinity Ibrena and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trinity, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
KaiTrin care is my latest business and a partnership with my best friend. Our business’ mission is to empower women to fulfill their goals and find their strengths through products that encourage mindfulness, self-love, and self-care. We create self-care boxes that do just that. Our business equips women in the community with the tools they need to take care of themselves and mental health, so they can show up in their businesses, careers, families, and relationships as the best version of themselves.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kaitlyn and Trinity both knew they wanted to do something to help empower women. Kaitlyn is a therapist in training, and Trinity is an educator and Life Coach. Both women have a passion for self-care and mental health, and starting a business together was on their best friend bucket list. Kaitlyn felt an aesthetically pleasing subscription box, with quality contents was lacking, especially a box created ‘for us, by us.” Kaitlyn and Trinity put their heads together and KaiTrin Care was born… “Don’t Kill my Vibe” has arrived! The process definitely has been a learning curve for the both of us. It’s taken a lot of time and dedication, as we both work full time and attend graduate school. We’ve learned that we have to prioritize and invest in our self-care, like our business promotes. Wearing all of our hats, it’s easy to neglect, but we can’t afford to neglect self-care.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d have to checkout the following places for good photo opportunities: XOXO Diner, Sweet Tooth Hotel, and For drinks and vibes we’d go the following: Virgin Hotel, 77 Degrees, and Shoppes at Legacy For random fun night life we’d probably wander the Greenville, Uptown, or Addison area We’d definitely have to stop by and support some of the black businesses such as : Soirée Coffee Bar, Burger iM, and True Food Kitchen Brunch, a hookah lounge, and day party would end up on our list
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Kaitlyn Living is my best friend and business partner. We make up the duo “KaiTrin” behind the KaiTrin Care brand. Our business wouldn’t be possible without her.
