We had the good fortune of connecting with Trang Nguyen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trang, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by the desire to help people find natural and effective solutions to their everyday challenges. Whether it’s assisting someone with their business branding, crafting the perfect marketing message, or providing guidance on creative projects, I’m driven by the opportunity to make a positive impact. Just like how businesses like CVA Products are inspired by personal experiences to create something meaningful, I’m inspired by the power of knowledge and creativity to transform ideas into reality.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is deeply inspired by the desire to create natural solutions for sensitive skin, and every product I make tells a story of care, compassion, and a commitment to quality. What sets CVA Products apart is our focus on handcrafted, custom-made skincare items that are not only effective but also made with love. The journey to where I am today professionally wasn’t easy. It started with a simple need to find relief for my daughter’s eczema, and from there, it evolved into a full-fledged business.

Overcoming challenges required perseverance and a lot of trial and error. I had to educate myself about natural ingredients, how to create skincare products, and how to turn my passion into a business. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success comes from staying true to your values and not giving up, even when things get tough.

What I want the world to know about CVA Products is that our brand is built on the foundation of helping others. Every product is crafted with the utmost care, using high-quality, natural ingredients. Whether it’s our soaps, balms, or candles, our mission is to provide solutions that bring comfort and relief to those with sensitive skin. My story is one of resilience, learning, and a commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a special shoutout to my husband, Charles Ayon, who always stands behind me and supports me whenever I need it. His unwavering belief in me has been a constant source of strength.

I also want to recognize my incredible colleagues and friends. May Cu, who always checks in on me to make sure I’m doing okay, and Judith Negron, a busy mom like me, who helps me at the markets or with the kids whenever she can. Lastly, a huge thank you to Ashley Nicole Stone, a great friend who helped me improve my business brand. Without Ashley, I would have been stuck and unable to keep an open mind. Thank you to each of you for playing such an important role in my journey!
