We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracy Atobatele and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tracy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Transparency and honesty

I pride myself in being extremely transparent with my clients as well as making sure I carry them along during the entire process of producing their shoes and if at any point (which rarely ever happens) they donot like what is produced I am very big on customer satisfaction so I make sure we come to a decision that makes the customer happy.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My drive sets me apart

I am proud of how much growth I have seen since I started and how I’m able to successfully thrive at my career (as a pilot) and my business(as a shoemaker) and not giving up one for the other.

I got to where I am solely by Gods grace and his favour over my life.

No it wasn’t easy but every set back and pitfall is all worth it in the end,

I overcame through prayer, hard work, perseverance and above all Gods grace

Lessons i have learnt along the way is to trust God and to know that he would never leave me stranded, there is always a will from me,so he would always make a way.

I want the world to know that every pair of @ritaandnathan shoes are made with love and with the constant thought that with every pair produced,we put aside a little bit of the profit to change a newborn’s life by giving back to our partner hospital

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to my parents of blessed memory,”I am” because “they were” and they blessed me with all the tools I need to be anything I choose to be and to achieve all I have achieved and hope to achieve in future.
