Meet Tina | Reiki Master practitioner, Intuitive and small business owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tina and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tina, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create a safe space for people to learn and ask questions about spirituality, different believes and ways to get to know their connection to the universe and themselves, without being judged. A Place where they could discover their own path, and reach out to their own conclusions of what resonates with them the best.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When i was growing up, I had a lot of questions about energy, the way the universe works, and things that in my family chosen religious background had a lot of prejudice towards. I was lucky that my mother was always very open about allowing me to make my own mind, but we didn’t have a lot fo tools or trustworthy places i could get guidance from. I still read and put into practice a lot of the things I discovered, allowing me to get in touch with my higher self and inner guidance. The more I learned and as the years went by, I realized that it might have been a blessing.
While there are a lot of good mentors out there, back then they were hard to find, and a lot of opportunist that would take advantage of people in search of answers; like in any other field. Thats how my dream began, of creating a safe space to allow people to find the tools they need, and create a place that would guide them in how to connect to their own inner teacher and higher self. That has always been the goal of Sacred journey, to be open to everyone as a safe loving space that will give support, guidance when needed, and a path to find your own unique way to experience life. A place to provide tools for you to carve your own way, and a supportive community that help each other grow.
The shop is a great beacon, since it sells the tools that can help and aid spirituality, but also hosting people that are experienced, and can be a source of knowledge and guidance to people that have just set out in this path, or haven’t found their community yet. It provides practical classes, to help you connect and discover the inner work that comes with spirituality, and self growth.
It can be a lonely journey sometimes and we want to provide a place where you can find a crying shoulder or a helping hand, no matter what you’re going through.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Im a hiker, so one of the places I would take them is Fort worths Nature reserve, that has beautiful places to hike, as well as Samson Park in white settlement. I would also take them to the Multiple Metaphysical stores in the area, like The Green Mans Studios, Mavens Moon, Embodii Crystals, Entelchea center and Hearth Wisdom store, among others.
Theres also tons of fairs in the community annualy and monthly, like The Holistic Experience, Fort worth Holistic fair in stockyards, North Tarrant Holistic Fair, Wellness expo, The Green Man holsitic Fair, and the Dallas psychic fair.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Deanna Baza who started the space in its conception with me, Anita Salazar for the love encouragement and current support, the whole community of Sacred Journey that come to every reiki share, to spread the love in the community, and the family of intuitives that come every week to the shop to share their guidance with seekers. Specially, my family, my chosen family and my mother, without their support i wouldn’t be where and who i am.
