We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy Davis and Roshun Onakhinor-Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timothy Davis and Roshun Onakhinor-Davis, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
We think that outsiders are unaware that we are not just an urban brand. We have formal wear too. Also we get a lot of request from people thinking we are a t shirt company. We are a clothing brand that take pride in allowing our customers to feeling like their outfit was made specifically for them.

What should our readers know about your business?
I thing that sets us apart from other brands. We don’t shoot for one particular target audience. We want everyone from ages and all walks of life to be able to wear our brand. A lot of motivation from our peers have kelp us going. It be hard sometimes but we need that motivation from them it means a lot. Keeps us thriving. We’ve learned that we have to always be open to learning new things. We don’t know everything.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First things first we’d take them to Deep Ellum. We love deep ellum. Big Guys Chicken has the best chicken rice platter in deep ellum. Then we’d go to Biscuit Bar to have drinks. It’ll be mostly a hanging out weekend full of Deep Ellum. To end the night we’d take a long walk around Margret Hunt bridge and enjoy the beautiful scenery of downtown dallas while enjoying the fresh air.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would like to dedicate our shoutout to our little cousin Aniya Ward. She drew our logo for us at the tender age of 11.
