We had the good fortune of connecting with Tierra Womack, MBA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tierra, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Looking back on my entrepreneurial path spanning 17 years, I realize that I somewhat stumbled upon my current business. Many of my peers, friends and friends of friends would come to me for advice on business since I was the “entrepreneur” friend but oftentimes the conversations would turn to how these women were silently suffering in high conflict relationships with narcissists and/or feeling unfulfilled in their careers although they had the outward appearance of success and were doing all the “inner work”. I could relate to this all too familiar story because I had lived it and found myself sharing guidance as to how I rebuilt my life, business, self worth and confidence that these women gravitated to…hence my coaching business was born!
What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve recently authored several best-selling books and launched a radio show called Mind Your Business on She Speaks Talk Radio that I’m really excited about! I have a few businesses within several industries but my passion lies in being a Confidence & Wealth coach for women who have hit a certain level of success in their business and are looking to scale more while working less so they can actually start enjoying the success they’ve created in their life. I help these women grow and identify internal issues that prevent them from being able to truly maximize their business’ potential. This is achieved through a combination of mindset techniques and simple business strategies I introduce to achieve time freedom and balance rapidly.
My coaching practice, The Brave Way, allows me to use my expertise as a serial, multi-platform mompreneur of 17 years and the lessons I’ve learned navigating narcissistic relationships while building businesses that have generated 7 figures to guide my clients to more money and more free time. And my philosophy is that if you have to rebuild in your life due to the end of a relationship (which was my situation), job loss or some other pivot in your life, you might as well build MASSIVELY. I also firmly believe that it is our right to build wealth in our life unapologetically with ease and balance. I used to be that entrepreneur that believed in all hustle, no sleep. It wasn’t until I started seeing my mentors building 8+ figure businesses with ease that I realized I was doing things the hard way and didn’t have to! I became entrenched in the mindset and business hacks that would allow for the most time freedom and prosperity in my life and I absolutely love sharing what I’ve learned with other women!
A majority of my clients find me through word of mouth which has truly been a blessing and I believe the combination of mindset techniques and business processes I cultivate for my clients are the exact recipe for success they didn’t even know they were craving. Most business mentoring focuses more on an outside-in approach and I’ve found that is only a temporary bandaid on larger, underlying issues such as lack of worth around receiving and keeping wealth, imposter syndrome even after hitting the coveted 7 figure mark in business and deservingness of a balanced life as a high level, female entrepreneur.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta is an entertainment and culinary playground so there are so many places to choose from but I would definitely say we would brunch at Toast on Lenox, journey around High Museum of Art & the Botanical Gardens, grab a lobster roll at The Big Ketch for a late lunch, and then unwind with drinks at Red Phone Booth. I may also throw in a stop to Phipps Plaza and Ponce City Market as well as Chateau Elan for an end of the week finale!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh, I love this question. I immediately think of my Aunt Nikki who has been such an inspiration in my life from a very young age. I can recall her always holding academics as a priority from elementary school age. She graduated valedictorian from high school while making being at a high level academically “cool” at a time when it wasn’t the in thing at all. Having this kind of example allowed me to fully step into my academic prowess without being made to dim my light and I thoroughly believe carrying this confidence, cultivated early in my life, made the journey as the first entrepreneur in my family easier to embark on.
