We had the good fortune of connecting with TeAndra Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TeAndra, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have always had a deep passion for traveling. When I had my son, I knew that I wanted to introduce him to it at an early age. After people seen that we were traveling so much, they began to ask questions, want tips and advice, so I wanted to create a space for them to be able to go to and get all of their questions answered. That’s when Traveling with the Taylors was born!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I currently work for the government, but my passion is consulting other parents on ways to travel with their children.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely have to head to Tru Kitchen to enjoy not only some great food, but great drinks as well. We could also head to grapevine to do some wine tasting. If it’s one of my adventurous friends, to the Fort Worth Stockyards we go to get our rodeo on!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My son Carson. Not only is he my joy and my headache, but he’s also my motivation and the reason why Traveling with the Taylors has flourished.
