We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Casino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting The Bronzed Boutique came from a rather meaningful place. I used to be someone who loved tanning beds and baking in the sun without sunscreen not fully realizing how much damage that was doing to my skin. Then in 2022, my dad was diagnosed with skin cancer, and that completely shifted my perspective. I knew I wanted to create a healthier way for people to get that same confident, bronzed glow—without the risks. Starting my own business gave me the chance to offer something safe, customized, and uplifting, while also helping others feel beautiful in their own skin.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Bronzed Boutique reflects my commitment to helping people feel confident, radiant, and beautiful in their own skin. What sets my business apart is the level of customization and care in every spray tan—I work with each client to create a shade that perfectly complements their skin tone, so they leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
Starting a business wasn’t always easy. From learning the ins and outs of running a small business to finding clients and building trust in a competitive industry, there were plenty of challenges. I overcame them by staying focused on my why, leaning on the support of my family, and always striving to improve my craft.
The lessons I’ve learned along the way include patience, persistence, and truly listening to my clients. The Bronzed Boutique isn’t just about a tan—it’s about confidence, self-care, and feeling beautiful in your own skin. And what I love most is that every visit is personal—we take time to connect, whether it’s meeting someone new or catching up like old friends. It’s truly the best part of my job.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting the Dallas area for a week, I’d kick things off with a Cowboys, Mavericks, or Rangers game. We’d spend an afternoon on the patio at Katy Trail Ice House, and some shopping at NorthPark Mall. Definitely a day exploring Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards, and ending the night with live music at Billy Bob’s. Of course, no Texas visit would be complete without some barbecue like Hutchins!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give my shoutout to both my husband and my dad. My husband has been my greatest supporter from the very beginning—encouraging me to take chances, celebrating every win, and helping me navigate the challenges along the way. And my dad, who was ultimately the one that really inspired this journey.
