We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Berry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
How can I make an Impact to various communities surrounding me? Im a Mental/ Behavioral Health provider, and I listen to these issues, and its very discouraging, what can I do to link & refer resources.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Currently I am a Mental/ Behavioral Health Case Manager, Soon to be a candidate to become a License Professional Counselor. Im most excited about giving back, helping patients bring peace to their life & evolve emotionally. Professionally, I haven’t reached the end goal, still in pursuit and its extremely challenging, to be honest I have learned you have to create the environment you want to be in. I want the world to know about me and 34 Reasons Foundation, its a reason behind every failure & you’re never denied because its always something better around the corner.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my bestfriend to the Eastside of Oklahoma City or Downtown, OKC.. I would support majority of the black owned establishments. The most interesting things are in the simplest things like fellowship, laughter and enjoying people. Ice Fassler Hall
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank everyone who have participated, donated and the continuous support from the community and various businesses. The process/ adversity, leading up to everything, Finding your purpose through the life stages really brought to light of serving and giving back.
