We had the good fortune of connecting with Tam Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tam, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I launched my business amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following a 13-year tenure at a spa, I found myself unexpectedly without a job. Despite this setback, my passion for esthetics remained undiminished. Recognizing the need for adaptability in such uncertain times, I decided to take a creative approach. Hence, I began my entrepreneurial journey as a mobile esthetician, bringing my services directly to clients.

What should our readers know about your business?
My client. They inspire me by believing in my skill. They often come to me with long-term skin concerns with the hope that I can help. With that, I never stop learning, reading, and researching all things skincare. Without them, there would be no business. My driving force is to overdeliver on my clients’ expectations.

What sets my business apart from others is my dedication to continuous learning and personalized care for each client. I am most proud of the transformations I have been able to help my clients achieve and the trust they place in me to address their skincare needs.

Getting to where I am today in my business has not been easy. I faced challenges such as fierce competition, market saturation, and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in skincare. However, I overcame these challenges by staying focused on my passion for skincare, continuously improving my skills, and providing exceptional service to my clients.

Along the way, I have learned the importance of building strong relationships with clients, staying adaptable to changes in the industry, and the value of hard work and perseverance. I want the world to know that my brand is built on a foundation of expertise, dedication, and genuine care for the well-being of my clients. My story is one of growth, learning, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in skincare.

I am excited about the future of my business and the opportunity to continue helping clients feel confident and beautiful in their skin.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Of course, we would start the day at my spa having relaxing facials and massages. We would then head to the West 7th area and grab lunch at the Beehive, known for its delicious food and cozy atmosphere. After lunch, we would head to Clearfork for some shopping at the upscale stores and boutiques. To unwind, we would end our day with margaritas at Mesero, a popular spot known for its fantastic drinks.

Throughout the week-long trip, I would take my best friend to the following places:

Day 1: Start with a spa day, lunch at the Beehive, shopping at Clearfork, and margaritas at Mesero.
Day 2: Explore the Fort Worth Stockyards, watch the cattle drive, and have dinner at Joe T. Garcia’s for some authentic Tex-Mex cuisine.
Day 3: Visit the Kimbell Art Museum to appreciate world-class art collections, followed by a stroll in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
Day 4: Take a guided tour of the Fort Worth Zoo, one of the top-ranked zoos in the nation, and enjoy dinner at the Reata Restaurant for Southwestern cuisine.
Day 5: Spend the day at the Fort Worth Water Gardens for a peaceful retreat, followed by dinner at the Sundance Square, with its vibrant nightlife and dining options.
Day 6: Explore the Fort Worth Cultural District, visiting museums like the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
Day 7: End the trip with a visit to the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge for outdoor activities and a relaxing picnic.

These are just a few highlights of what Fort Worth has to offer, with a mix of culture, entertainment, dining, and relaxation for a truly unforgettable experience.
