We had the good fortune of connecting with Tajudeen Bello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tajudeen, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always had a dream to have my own brand/business. My thought process of starting it came from hearing about other peoples families having businesses passed down, so it inspired me to want to create something that I could one day leave for my family.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think the thing that sets me apart from others is jus my desire to make sure people love what I’m doing and making things more convenient and reasonable for the people who can’t always afford the high priced things. See its not really about the money for me its more about the quality of whatever service or product I’m providing. The thing I’m most proud of right now is the drive and consistency that I’ve been able to keep these past 7 years. It really hasn’t been a easy road for me. I’ve had times where I didn’t believe in myself, failed or even wanted to quit because I was overwhelmed or jus didn’t like the outcomes I was getting.

I overcame these challenges simply by just asking question to the people look up to and doing research on the things I wanted to know. Also the love and support I get from family and friends helps me get through because they are really the ones I do all of this for.

I could go for days about the lessons I’ve learned but the most important thing is that you have to be on top of your business its not jus about whatever talent you have. My uncle G always tell me its 90% business 10% talent!!

I just want the world to know that my journey has jus begun and I have a lot more for the word to see and I’m doing my part everyday to make sure I’m providing the BEST service and products every single time!!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well its a little different from my point of view. I like ride around checkout the city lights at night, might pull over somewhere downtown and walk a lil bit. Like Deep Ellum or Uptown even Greenville ave are jus a few good places to hang out in the city. If I was taking someone to eat in the city I’d have to say Gators they have some good cajun food also jus a chill atmosphere rooftop area with a few of the city. Now if you want some good burgers you can checkout “Burgerim West End” & “Hop Doddy Burger Bar” they’re both unique with their combinations. Cant forget “Velvet Taco” that’s a good after hours spot too. All these places have good drinks too and just real chill vibes. Not too m much going on just the right places to chill and relax.

I’m not really a club crowd person but those are some of the things I like to do in the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my family, friends and all the people who have been supporting the brand/business thus far. Also two books by my favorite author Daymond John. “The Power of Broke” & “Rise & Grind”.
