We had the good fortune of connecting with Street Lamp and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Street Lamp, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Every opportunity is a risk. No one knows how things will play out. We like taking new opportunities because they are fun and exciting. Regardless of the outcome you can always learn something and apply it to scenarios later.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The man behind the mission is the guitar player Aves. He started playing with other bands on bass at the age of 12. Shoot 12 years later after playing numerous gigs with numerous bands across texas and the US, Street Lamp was formed by him and front-woman Sabrina Cioffi. We’ve had bumps and bruises along the way, line up changes and such, but we’re still here striving and surviving, can’t stop, won’t stop.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Take them down to St. Mary’s strip, maybe the Bonham. The foods good on the west side. If we wanna stay classy we go to the Pearl.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shouts to those who really believe in us and help us with all our projects along the way. You know who you are.
