We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen Paprocki and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephen, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Like most i got tired of working for other people and making them money. I know that I wanted to be my own boss, and knew this project would be able to help me achieve that goal.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I worked most of my life as a chef in a kitchen. I have worked all over the USA in different states. Every position or property I have worked at has helped me develop skills to better run my own company. Nothing in life is easy, there are always obstacles to overcome. There is a solution to every problem, you need to always move forward and learn from mistakes.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Antonio has a great amount of things to see and do. From just handing out on the weekend at the Pearl Farmers Market or grabbing a bite to eat and any of the great restaurants around the city.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Launch SA in San Antonio, TX has been a real asset in moving my business forward. Lift Fund is also a great asset, and has been easier to get financial assistance over my regular banks. Also i could not have done this without my family and wife supporting my dreams and goals.
