We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, how do you think about risk?
It’s all about how you look at the word “risk”. The word itself can give people a feeling of uncertainty. But to me, I see it as an opportunity. I’ve been taking risks my whole life, i’ve learned and grown through every risky decision i’ve made. About 5 years ago I invested all of my money into a course to learn microblading. Some people saw it as impulsive and careless. I saw it as an opportunity to become a business owner. With drive and determination, I turned that “risky decision” into a successful business in DFW.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I tattoo peoples faces for a living. It is my job to help my clients look and feel great through permanent makeup. I am most proud of the passion and drive I developed through the years as it has pushed me to learn more about permanent makeup and be able to provide the absolute best for my clients. I am grateful I have the opportunity to change people’s lives whether I save them 15 minutes everyday, or giving them the brows they’ve always dreamed of.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love hanging out in The Colony/Grandscape area…Great entertainment, food and stores to check out. If I have visitors during baseball season, we definitely make time for a game and drinks at Texas Live in Arlington.
The restaurants I love taking my friends and family to include Hutchins BBQ, Whiskey Cake, Shell Shack, and Rule The Roost.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe my success to all of my clients that have supported my business throughout the years by referring people, sharing my work and continuing to trust me with their beautiful faces. Without my clients, Tehana Beauty would not exist. I also have to thank my husband for believing in me since day 1. He pushed me to keep going on the days I wanted to give up.
