We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Leslie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacey, what matters most to you?
Values and Principles are one of the MOST important aspects of success in business. People and clients have a good sense of Honesty, Integrity, Morals, Speaking Ethically…as long as you stick to your word, stay loyal, educate yourself well and work hard for your clients they sense that, get to experience it from you first hand and it keeps them coming back plus referring more to you. If we don’t do a good job, can’t help them make good financial decisions, speak ill of colleagues, are questionable on how we help them according to the law and what is right….it reflects. I have learned to not focus on others or if I have been wronged and just keep moving forward focusing on doing good business practices and working hard for our clients.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a realtor and in my 9th year. I was in marketing for 9 years prior to becoming a realtor and I think that helped me with growing so quickly in the real estate industry. I love to think outside the box on marketing…from free pumpkin patches, to supplying free moving boxes. I would rather give back in a way to get my name out there than to send a postcard that helps no one. Real estate deals with people’s largest financial assets. We are the professional that can help them capitalize on that asset or investment. I continually learn new tricks, advice, ways of thinking of things. The market is continually changing….2 years ago it was a buyer’s market then a pandemic hit and now seller’s have complete control. Add in 1/3rd of home owners had to take forbearance and you need a TRUE experienced realtor to navigate making the most of your money….that is our specialty and I LOVE it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Dallas is full of great pockets for entertaining! I’d take a good friend visiting for some Texas BBQ at Pecan Lodge or Hard 8 BBQ. You have to see Grandscape and experience Scheels & NFM with a ride on the Ferris Wheel. Taking a evening at The Star to walk the field, shops the shops and grab a bite at Dee Lincoln. Another evening in Legacy West is a great visit as well. We love having lunch and shopping down in Highland Park Village with lunch at Bistro 31 or a lobster roll at Yo Lobster.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My team on The Agency – eXp realty group. Without the other 7 on my team helping clients and helping me grow I’d be no where. My husband….he works tirelessly in the background for my career.
My parents and my upbringing. They have always supported my dreams and I come from an entrepreneur family.
My adult kids…I was a single parent and they took a lot of risks with me and now one of them even works for me.
Anyone that has referred me business or speak well of us to others….that’s what it is all about. Supporting each other.
