We had the good fortune of connecting with Simon Sanjur and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Simon, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
I think commiting to posting for 7 days straight at one point really helped to contribute to my success on the platform. As well as making an effort to make something as much as possible. Showing up to your audience is half the battle so staying consistent is key

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I don’t think that there’s a lot that sets me apart. I liked making videos when I was a kid so I’ve always been making videos. I start out making videos for my school and making small little music videos with like my favorite show on them. I started making wedding videos, and I was pretty fun when I first started doing it because it was great money and I was broke so I it was nice.
I think the hardest challenge was just being able to balance school, and also making videos at the same time, and trying to express myself.
I don’t really know if I have a dance because it’s just my videos but I think when you make some thing you should try and make it the best it can be, 100% effort all the time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
if my friend was visiting the area, I probably go and take them to the Horchata place right across the street. I go there all the time. After that, I probably should’ve my favorite hiking spot which is Eagle Mountain. After that I’ll take them to the tax records guys on some fun clothes and some stuff out. After that, I was going to call and bite them to come and hang out with me and my buddy Jarid. Might stop by Enos pizza in Bishop arts and just chill out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
No one has impacted my success more than my twin brother Peter. He bought me a giant editing PC and that allowed me to create without limits. Also my Mom and Dad that always supported me as well as my teacher Mr. Garza.
