We had the good fortune of connecting with Sholdon Daniels and we’ve shared our conversation below.

What should our readers know about your business?
Sure thing! So, what sets my journey apart is the mixture of a sharp mind and an extraordinary rollercoaster of experiences. I believe it’s that kaleidoscope of insights that gives me my edge. I connect with folks in a way that builds trust and, yes, delivers real results. One of my proudest moments was securing an acquittal for a young single mother who was standing up against wrongful police action – that victory still lights up my day.  I’ve closed big money deals and won big cases, but my passion lies in empowering people in business, and I love to use my gifts to that end.

With that being said, allow me to introduce myself as The Business Plan Man. This is where my passion for helping entrepreneurs and business owners truly shines. With a dedicated business planning team, I’ve harnessed years of legal expertise to create a powerhouse of strategic business planning. My mission is clear: to be your ultimate ally in transforming your ideas into thriving businesses. Whether you’re starting a venture from scratch, seeking financing or partnership, or looking to scale your existing business, we’re here with tailored business plans that lay the foundation for your success. Our clients aren’t just clients; they’re success stories waiting to be written, and I’m here to provide the actual blueprint.

Getting here wasn’t a walk in the park.  I came from poverty and a tough background, but honestly, challenges only fueled me and I count them as pure joy. I earned my stripes taking on cases for indigent defendants in criminal matters, and doing pro bono work for nonprofits, and that’s where the reputation for fighting for my clients was born. Plus, I spent over 5 years as the general counsel at 4biddenknowledge Inc., handling everything from business planning to intellectual property. Not gonna lie, working for Billy was a hustle, but I learned a lot and I’m thankful.

The toughest part of my life wasn’t getting to the starting line, it was defining what came next after I had reached my goals. And that’s where Grant Cardone’s ‘Be Obsessed or Be Average’ became my mantra – reminding me that the only way is forward, and complacency is never an option.  This year alone, I’ve grown my team from two to seven, and I’m finally coming outside to play on social media.  My good friend, Marcus Egiebor, put me on to that bit of game.

The biggest lessons? Stay hungry for success and learn something new every day – these lessons are vital. I’ve realized that resting on past victories isn’t my style – I gotta earn my stripes every day. And I love doing it!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, that sounds like an epic week in the making! First stop, we’d kick off with some serious dining at Park City Club and Dallas Tower Club – gotta show off the city’s culinary delights, right? Then, it’s off to Ruin and Bourbon and Banter for some unforgettable cocktails and vibes. Of course, we can’t miss out on the charming Dahlia and Felix Culpa Lounge for a chic night out.

The adventure continues at Lava Cantina, and I’d definitely sneak in a local fashion show and art exhibit for that extra cultural touch. And hey, if adrenaline is calling, we’d dive into the thrilling experience of indoor skydiving at iDive.

Shopping’s a must, so I’d whisk them off to NorthPark Mall or Preston Village – because retail therapy knows no bounds! Now, the fun really amps up with parties at the Fraternal Order of Eagles – they throw some legendary bashes. And for some friendly competition, nothing beats top golf meetups with buddies.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely! My journey has been a blend of inspiration from various corners. While I can’t point at a single hero, I’ve drawn motivation from different sources. Take Jay-Z for his legendary business smarts, and Diddy for his hustle – these guys really set the entrepreneurial bar high. Oh, and ‘Be Obsessed or Be Average’ by Grant Cardone is a book that totally shook up my perspective and pushed me to give it my all.

But you know, the real star of my booster club is my wife, Alyse. She feeds me this amazing blend of inspiration and encouragement every day.– I bounce my ideas off her all the time, and her insights on wellness and leadership have often been a game-changer for me. Then, there’s the crew, mentors, colleagues, and even those scary obstacles that have taught me priceless lessons. I have so many friends that I know deserve a shoutout for all their hard work, but a few are Marcus Egiebor, Kelton Jeffrey, Chaston Brooks, Chris Keith.  It’s this whole mix that fuels my journey. So, while there’s no single ‘shoutout MVP’, it’s this incredible cocktail of inspiration that I’m incredibly grateful for.
