We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheryce Jacobs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sheryce, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always known that I wanted to do something different as far as my working career. During the pandemic, the opportunity to explore an entrepreneurial avenue presented itself. I started with buying purses just for myself. When I realized it could be the path of financial freedom that I’ve been looking for, I began researching the process of owning my own business.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
ItsRyce Accessories, LLC is women accessories such as purses, clothing, and jewelry.
I have been an official business owner for a year and a half.
I have an awesome group of customers that supports me tremendously. They absolutely reconfirm that I made one the best decisions becoming an entrepreneur.
I do face challenges. My major challenge is shipping. I am still learning how to manage keeping a consistent amount of inventory in stock. It is an obstacle that I address every day. The more experience I gain with placing orders, the better I get with facing this challenge.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far during this journey is I now know what true happiness is. Every morning I wake up and I realize I am living my best life and doing exactly what I was design to do!
My story is one of triumph! I am God’s Child!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I really don’t go out to often! So this is a challenging question! 😁

My Family!
My family consents of my parents, my daughter, my sister, my brother and my aunt. Their continuous support has been meant everything to me. My aunt and my sister has on numerous occasions helped me at various events, stayed with me for countless hours, and has never once complained or wanted anything in return. My parents are my prayer warriors. I can always depend on them to keep me lifted in prayer, to always keep me encouraged and grounded, and to always remind me to put God first! My daughter and my brother are my silent supporters! They will pass out my business cards, wear the merchandise, and let me know when I need to order a particular item!
I can’t be successful without them! They are my everything. We are such a close net unit. We put God first, we trust Him, and we follow Him.
