We had the good fortune of connecting with Shayne Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shayne, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Not much thought process, it’s just me not getting the required results or attention in the specific field im in that inspired me to start. Blind and inexperienced. I had a drive and the determination to get to where I should be.

What should our readers know about your business?
Forever Music Productions is a company started in 2007 solely to get our music to the next level and do so the way we would like to independently. Started production in 2010 with the project STREETS OF PAIN project. What sets us apart from other labels is that we pride ourselves in making a positive contribution to the music. Teaching and entertaining the world regardless of the distracting elements surrounding the industry. We tend to follow no trends whatsoever and work strictly off inspiration so we can give the world a taste of real truth in the music. We have released at least 8 compilations and 2 singles. Our label artiste is Earth Tremma, a very creative ed active, melodious and talented soul. We work with the likes of Brian Gold, Bunny Brown, Tanto Metro and Devonte, Cherine Anderson, Bugle, Lutan Fyah, Prezident Brown, Anthony Red Rose, Teflon, Perfect Giddimani, Kumar Fyah, Darrio, Nesbeth, Steppa Rebel, Earth Tremma, Paul Lymie Murray and More. Our aim at Forever Music Productions is to carry on the legacy of true authentic music with a touch of now. #AncientNowADays .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
National Gallery, Bob Marley Muesum, Devon House, Port Royal, Blue Mountain Experience, Bamboo Rafting, Street Food experience in the river, Gocart, The Art Of Motivation inc, Jamzone Bowling, Appletin Estate, Weddy Weddy, Uptown Mondays, PonTop Bar and Grill Saturday night live music and food. A real Jamaican experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out to Sly and Robbie, Rorey Baker, Linford Fatta Marshal, Paul Patchy Wright, Devonte and a lot more musical pioneers. These people mold me into the person I am professionally today.
