Meet Sharon Goldberg and Emma Goldberg | Venue Owners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sharon Goldberg and Emma Goldberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sharon and Emma, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We’re a completely family-built and family-run business and we strive to provide a personalized, stress-free experience for all of our couples. We truly care about our clients and love getting to walk with them through the planning process.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We own and operate a boutique wedding venue just outside of Fort Worth, TX. Our family built the venue together in 2016 to help people bring their visions for their wedding to life. Over the past 8 years, we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of over 400 celebrations and the joy of it never gets old!

It’s been a lot of hard work finding the right event staff, creating the backend systems that work best for us, and building strong relationships with vendors and clients. We’ve had to be learn to be patient and consistent and let our work speak for itself. We’re passionate about providing excellent experiences and put our hearts into every event!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh, there are so many great spots in Fort Worth!

We would definitely get coffee at Momento. We’d do some shopping at Gifted. The Fort Worth Zoo holds a special place in our family’s heart, so that’s a must! We LOVE food, so we’d have to hit
Wicked Butcher, Walloon’s, Delucca, Los Vaqueros, and Coco Shrimp. Black Forrest Cake from the Swiss Pastry Shop would round out the trip.

I know that’s not a week’s worth, but those would be our highlights!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We wouldn’t be able to offer the level of service we do without our wonderful team – the people who helped us build Stillwater Meadow into what it is today and consistently show up to work with a heart to create beautiful celebrations for our couples.
