We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaad and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaad, why did you pursue a creative career?
The reason i pursued music is because I love the way it makes me feel, from a creator stand point and a consumer. It’s something about hearing a beat and being able to put words to it and creating something beautiful.I also love to give positive energy to people, and I feel It’s no better way to do that other than music.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a artist I’ve been infatuated with music for as long as I can remember, I started recording music in the Sixth grade and I have released multiple projects, Songs, videos and Features. I’ve been on multiple Radio stations, I’ve also did shows all over Texas and a few in Miami and Atlanta.

Hard work and the fact that I never stop believing in my self is what got me here today. There had been times where I wanted to give up, but support from Fans and reaching achievements kept me pushing to the dream that I want .

I feel like what sets me apart from other artists is the fact that I try to give positive energy out when I make music. You feel the love and the passion I have for music the moment you press play, my craft is more then just a beat I put time into what I write hoping that it was something that you can relate to or feel motivated by when you hear it coming out your speakers.

The lesson I’ve learned with making music is Failure is only a lesson, you learn from your mistakes and come back harder. Also It only takes one Yes for your success, keep going !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m not really that much of a out on the town kinda of person lol, but when I do have friends that visit we’ll all chill. Maybe have a game night or a writing session it’s rare that you may catch us at a bar or party lol . We’ll find us a Good brunch spot to visit on Sunday maybe Jonathan’s, The Yolk or The Rustic nothing to much .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It’s so many people that help me become the artist I am today, I want to start with my mom and pop’s for always allowing me to create and pursue this dream. They really are the people who watch it all unfold into the artist I am today .

I want to give a special thanks to my Team GoodWrittens & The Village, they both have contributed in a very impactful way. I thank them for pushing me and challenging me beyond my limits.

I want give a special thanks to my Girl and my kids they have supported and motivated me along this journey, and though sometimes I have to cut quality time short to pursue my dream I love them dearly and appreciate them .

Also want to give a s/o to the people that support and have made this movement what it is . It feels good to be able to get genuine love and know people appreciate your craft for what it is thank you!

And last but not least Shout out to God it’s cause of you I’m able to go after my dream and shed light on the world .
