Meet Sangeeta Claudia Sadhwani | Homemaker & Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sangeeta Claudia Sadhwani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sangeeta Claudia, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
In fashion, its the constant need to reinvent on a daily basis. We are always running against time. From the outside it all looks like fun and games but I think not many know its one of the most grueling time lines to keep up with.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my career at Fedex in sales and one of my accounts was the Dallas Market Center. Id like to believe I have a good eye in terms of sourcing and all my travels across the globe gave me access to some beautiful markets. I did see a dearth in embellished bags. Either they were too expensive or cheap crappy stuff. I wanted to start a handbag line that was right in the middle. That’s how I started my company and started wholesaling out of the Dallas Market center. I produce out of India my home country. I have been very fortunate to work with a bunch of fantastic artisans who convert my ideas into pieces of gorgeousness! The best lesson I have learnt is nothing can happen without perseverance…you have to go on and on and on.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The day would start with breakfast at Henks European deli, followed by some window shopping at Highland Park village. When in Texas you would have to do some Tex – Mex stop for a leisurely lunch at Javiers. Then I would take them to my favorite place to hang out the Dallas Design District. And finally dinner at the Meddlesome Moth.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think my biggest motivators are my husband and kids who have supported me all through this journey. They have continuously pushed me to keep at it. My sisters who are my backbone with everything I do.
