Meet Rutanya Sellers | CEO/President of Noble Haven Inc.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rutanya Sellers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rutanya, what do you attribute your success to?
The Most High God is the most important factor behind the success of Noble Haven Inc. If it wasn’t for the Lord God Almighty keeping me through some of the hardest times in my life…I never would have made it! It was the Lord God that gave me the vision for Noble Haven Inc and the power to execute! Having a real and true relationship with The Heavenly Father will put you ahead in life and business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have a heart and desire to see the captive set free. In 2016, I went through what I thought was the worse time of my life! I myself was homeless and pregnant, living in a facility for pregnant women! During that time I went into a facility for pregnant women. As I was enduring the journey, The Most High God, YHWH spoke to me and told me this is my mission! I knew I had a “work” to do. Once I began to recover and reacclimate myself back into society. I began to take the necessary steps to serve. I began to volunteer my time, services and personal finances to provide “New Mommy Makeovers” to the mother’s that lived in similar facilities I was in. By the Grace of God, I was able to provide hair and makeup services and brunch for the mother’s. I spoke to the mothers to encourage them, I was sent here to let them know that they too can be restored and be healed. This is not the end all be all! There is HOPE on the other side. I am a living, breathing, walking, talking witness. Due to COVID-19 I was unable to provide services anymore. It catapulted me into finally getting Noble Haven Inc. off the ground.

Mission:
Noble Haven Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) to provide a safe, welcoming community to reacclimate and reestablish homeless pregnant women, children, and families back into society.

Pregnancy is a beautiful experience. It can become extremely stressful when the mother does not have a safe and stable environment for the pregnancy to flourish. Here at Noble Haven Inc. we want to make our presence known here in our community by providing assistance to homeless pregnant women & their families throughout their duration of the pregnancy even up to a year after postpartum. Noble Haven Inc will provide a plethora of resources to our community from baby supplies and necessities, prayer and counseling, domestic violence prevention, continue education, financial literacy, homelessness prevention and so much more…

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I absolutely love SPA CASTLE in Carrollton, TX! I went recently for my birthday November 01, 2021. I ended up staying there until they closed. They are open all year round. There are indoor/outdoor pools and Jacuzzis on the first floor. As well as a bar area for adult cocktails and buy food. On the second floor they have 5-7 sauna rooms that all have different healing benefits and to remove toxins. Along with a Sushi bar, an area for rest/napping, and you have to ability to get a full body message and other spa treatments (paid additional services).
Oh and they have some the most luxurious hotels rooms available for overnight stay.
I just love it there at Spa Castle!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I first would like to Shoutout The True & Living God! Without Him none of this would be possible. Secondly I’d like to shout out my baby girl Noble! She is my WHY! My reason to want to do better in every area of my life.
Also those that came alongside me to help bring the vision to fruition. The present & future Board Members, Volunteers, Partners & Sponsors!
