We had the good fortune of connecting with Roy Dinges and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Roy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I look forward to risks. Risks challenge a person, they challenge the heart and drive of a person. Without risks there are no rewards. I don’t want to live a comfortable mediocre life. I want to experience all that life has to offer. So in order to do that, we need to face the challenges and dare them to knock us down.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a country/western social media content creator where my main platforms are Tik Tok and Instagram. I think what sets me apart is for one my age and two, coming into the social media world within the last year or so. I did not expect to grow and have the following I have to come as fast as it has. My content consists of anything from trends to promoting the country and the western lifestyle like shooting content at rodeos, interviewing rodeo athletes, including horses in my content along with alot of older country music sounds.
As far as growing as fast as I have, I have to contribute it to the two content creators who have shown me and taught me, they are Nick Luciano and Blake Moore. Us three make up a group called the Tratter House. We have a combined following of over 10 million on our social media platforms. Without these two I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today.
Along with social media, I’m involved in two apparel companies founded by Nick and Blake. The brands focus on the country, ranching and agricultural world and they are Luciano Western Wear and Tratterco.
Nick, Blake and I also are on season two of a podcast we started last year called Tratter Talk. The podcast covers everything from positivity, to what is happening in the rodeo and social media world. We also have special guests from time to time to give the podcast a different flavor.
The Tratter House is proud to be sponsored by the biggest apparel company in the western world, Ariat. Tratter Talk is sponsored by Montana Silversmiths who have exceptional quality and craftmanship in making buckles, jewelry and much more.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family is who I owe the most. The love and guidance and the undying support they have shown has been a light to me. My true friends, they know who they are. Then with my fairly new venture into the social media world, I couldn’t have done it without Nick Luciano and Blake Moore, they’ve certainly pushed and encouraged me as well as taught me alot.
