We had the good fortune of connecting with Rossmond Chark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rossmond, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
I love this question. There’re many things that make me happy physically, emotionally or materialistically. But God is the ultimate reason. On days I feel like giving it all up and days where I’m incredibly motivated, he loves me the same. It gives me no choice but to keep going, be patient and love myself that much more. He is my happiness and because of his grace I find joy in the small things nowadays.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Nothing has been easy, but everything has been consistent and worth it. The only challenge has been competing with my last move. I just want to keep progressing in whatever path God already has arranged for me and my determination to do so is what I believe sets me apart and am most proud of.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Id have to limit it to a fun weekend due to work ha-ha but for a fun day together we’d start our day off with a workout or morning walk, then freshen up and head over to Blue Mesa for brunch! If we aren’t falling in someone’s bushes by the end of it, we’ll head over to the mall to walk and shop our meal off. Once that’s over and done with I’d invite her to go karting, horseback riding or to a museum, it depends on the vibes. I’ assume we’d be hungry again after some fun so I’d take her to Mexican sugar for lunch because their cilantro rice? Delicious. Then we’re heading to get permanent friendship bracelets done! We’d end the night with dinner at Vidorra’s followed with a chill lounge to dance and drink our food off before hitting the hay!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Jadon Franklin, who’s supported me unconditionally and Sharnique Johnson, who mentored me in makeup.
