We had the good fortune of connecting with Raiza Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Raiza, how does your business help the community?
If we have the chance to live in such a wonderful country, we ought to be the open door for others who doesn’t have the same opportunity and assist them in promoting their talent.  I started my business as an event producer to support Latin designers to promote their brands.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As an event producer, I listen to what the people want and make it possible.

I got this position taking care of others and helping them grow in their business.

The lesson that I learned is that we have to respect everybody’s opinions.

What I want to people know from me

I am an open book, aninto honest person, and I put my heart into everything that I do with God first in my life.

My brand is passion and transparency

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
VISITING if a friend comes to visit me I will take them to the capital of Maryland Annapolis, I will take them to the first naval school And eat Maryland blue crab. 

And finishing with a lava cake in fells point. 

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am in the best moment of my life, I learned to balance my two passions as Journalist and event producer thanks to God and the people around me.

I learned from the victories and defeats because that made me the woman that I am.

I will close this interview, by saying thank you to my husband for his support in all my crazies ideas, my mom is my fan number one,  and the love and support of my friend Teresa Utreras.
