We had the good fortune of connecting with Raeesa Jadael and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Raeesa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
In all honestly starting my own business was not something in the past that I ever thought would be on my radar. I simply stumbled upon what turned into a passion that I wanted to share that passion with others. At its core my central thought was just to share the love, passion , security, bonding , joy and fulfillment that I received from having my Italian Mastiffs (Cane Corsos) in my life.

A few years ago we had an HVAC technician come to our home, this situation quickly turned into a nightmare that left me feeling extremely vulnerable in my own home. I had just become a new mom and here was this man who began to obsessively call/stalk our family. During this time period my husband was in sales leading him to be away from the home quite often. Feeling unsafe and like you have no control in your own home is a truly frightening experience. This situation led me to researching getting a guardian breed for our home as a guard dog. After, much research we decided to welcome a Cane Corso into our family however the search to find a good reputable breeding program was extremely stressful. This led me to creating our Cane Corso breeding program High Society Cane Corso.

Unfortunately, in the hunt to find the right Cane Corso program for our home we saw how many people were simply pairing random dogs together, conducting no health testing, hardly caring for their puppies, lacking empathy for these majestic animals they were bringing into the world, selling dogs they did not even have proper paperwork to , not caring about temperament and much more. I truly wanted to have a program that focused on putting healthy, well balanced & happy Cane Corso puppies into peoples families. I wanted a program that emphasized structure, health, giving our pups a head start and also incorporating love. I have heard many breeders say that you cannot have emotions and have a successful program. I do not believe this is true, in having no emotion one cannot truly give puppies a well rounded environment.

In order to truly sum up my thought process it was to have a Cane Corso program focused on health, temperament & structure as well as providing a great client experience.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
High Society Cane Corso is a family-owned Cane Corso breeding program located in the DFW area. We focus on raising well-rounded dogs as well as breeding puppies with a focus on health, temperament & structure.

We are most proud of how much progress our program has made. It is fulfilling knowing that you are bringing something into families lives that brings them happiness. We are excited about the future and watching our program grow. We currently have 78k followers on TikTok and over 1k subscribers on Youtube.

Things have not always been easy however, I would say that we have gotten to this point by maintaining consistency and being true to our values as a program. Our dogs & puppies speak for themselves. We love watching them grow and get better each day. There is nothing like the bond you build with these animals and being able to celebrate their “wins” with them. They continue to amaze us in what they are capable of.

What separates us from others would be our passion & transparency in our program. Through our YouTube channel, we share our experiences this allows for the spread of knowledge and an insight to what goes on within our program. We spare no expense both in time and financially when it comes to making sure our dogs receive the best care & training.

A lot of breeders tend to get bad reputations due to many who simply breed for money instead of caring about the well-being of the dogs. At High Society Cane Corso, we not only strive to make sure our dogs are getting everything they need but also strive to create a great client relationships with those whom purchase puppies from us.

Our pups come with a health guarantee, ears cropped and tails docked , dewormed, vaccinations (up until 8 weeks), microchip & their puppy packs ( will have some food /toys in there for them). They are AKC registered. We also conduct puppy culture with our pups ( early neurological stimulation) , litter box train them and then introduce them to the crate, introduce them to grooming habits ( nail trimmings, baths, brushes) . We offer lifetime breeder support and even if you do not get a dog from us are always happy to answer any questions that anyone may have.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When planning any type of trip I always find that some of the best places are the ones where people put their heart & soul into it. I love going to smaller restaurants that give that family feel , the type of place where it shows the owner is passionate about their work, food, etc. I truly am a bit of a homebody but there are a few spots that our family loves to go. Most mornings would be spent at the house just as most of our dog chores are in the morning.

Monday- My husband is a great cook and truly loves to do it. I would host a dinner at home for their first night here. We would probably grill up some food and spend time catching up.

Tuesday- Klyde Warren Park for the food trucks of course & Dallas Museum of Art

Wednesday- Gen Korean BBQ for lunch. Go to a Movie in the evening.

Thursday- Fort Worth Zoo & Alex’s Pizza & Pasta for dinner

Friday- Fort Worth Stockyards & Risky’s BBQ. We would definitely go to the Rodeo as well.

Saturday- Nail Salon appointment at Modern Nails. Texas De Brazil for Dinner

Sunday- Ol’ South Pancake House for Breakfast, Trinity River Trails with the Dogs.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my husband, Khalill. He always has pushed me to unapologetically go for what I want in life. If I did not have his support High Society Cane Corso would not exist. Not only is he a great partner & father but he is the one that has showed me that leaping towards your dreams & passions while risky can be worth it. If you never throw the dart at the wall you will never know if you would’ve hit the target.
