We had the good fortune of connecting with Peter Hamm and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Peter, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Synergy. Building & Creating Synergy. Don’t know what synergy is? Well, it’s more than just a cool word. Synergy defined is as “the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.”

If there was a movie about my life, I always tell others that it would be titled “Search for Synergy” because I spend every moment of my life looking for it, working to create it & building it with others.

Synergy is special to me. Synergy with others is how great friendships are born. Synergy in action is how lifelong relationships grow & flourish. Synergy is what leads to greatness, championships & reaching new heights.

Synergy is a “swiss army knife” word. One that means a lot to me. Through my show, The Hamm Planet Podcast, I strive to have synergy in every episode & with every guest. Connecting with them, understanding them, feeling their emotions, listening to their stories with an open heart & open mind, and shining the spotlight on the value they provide to the world is synergy at its finest in my opinion. Given that guests come from all walks of life, it’s challenging – yet so rewarding. This is exactly why synergy makes me happy and most importantly, why I’m always searching for it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The Hamm Planet Podcast. My goal is to become the “Joe Rogan of Millennials” – The podcast started as a hobby in June of 2020; it has grown to be my passion. Since then, 60 shows have been published, a 4-person studio has been built and I’ve had the opportunity to speak with/learn from many incredible people along the way.

The Hamm Planet Podcast show is all about three things: Good Vibes, Great People & Glorious Stories. Simple as that. Powered by perspective, the show features a variety of different guests from all walks of life.

Featured Guests have ranged from professional athletes, business innovators, medical specialists, musicians, doctors, bodybuilders, good friends, unique characters, coaches, armed forces members, creators, artists, and everything in between.

The Hamm Planet Podcast has worldwide exposure with featured guests from the following countries on the show thus far: the United Kingdom, Poland, Japan, Argentina, Canada, Mexico, France, Sweden, the Dominican & Haiti.

The show is featured across 27 podcast media platforms and since its launch, the show has received over 115,000+ listens/watches and counting. On average, each show gets 2,000 to 5,000 listeners/watchers. The show recently received an exclusive invitation from Spotify in December 2021 and will transition to being a Spotify Video only show by the end of 2022.

The show sure has come a long way since it’s launched, but the journey has still just begun! The best is yet to come for The Hamm Planet Podcast, and the goal is to take it to the next level with each & every show in 2022

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
DFW has so much to offer. I love visiting the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and I love going to Dallas Cowboys games and everything in between. Food-wise, I would take a guest to S&D Oyster. Beverage-wise, love Peticolas Brewery and lastly, I would absolutely take them to Texas Live.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Culver Military Academy, my high school. Culver shaped & molded me into the man I am today. My time at Culver opened my eyes to how vast the world is, how different everyone is from one another, how much opportunity there is in the world, how valuable teamwork is, and, above all, Culver showed me how impactful my actions can be. Culver will always be special to me and I’ll always cherish those four years of my life. I’m thankful & blessed to have been a Culver Academies Cadet, Graduating Class of 2013.
