We had the good fortune of connecting with Pedro Meneses and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pedro, what inspires you?
I would say that the 2 two things that inspire me the most are helping people and the idea that I can build something as big and powerful in my life that can have an impact for generations to come. I’m a firm believer that we are on this planet to serve others, not to be served. My work, my business, and everything I do is inspired by the fact that I can impact someone’s life and business through my actions.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I Own a marketing and advertisement agency call The Marketing Brewing Company. We work with the Craft Beer Industry and help Breweries eager to grow to expand their business and sell more beer through social media marketing and automated systems that can actually be measure and prove results. We do this by converting their online traffic into actual sales online and on-premise.  I’ve always been a very independent person my whole life, and I have always believed I was put on this planet for more than just a job behind a desk. Driven by a burning desire of doing something greater than myself and for others is what drove me to build my own business. One day I was sitting at my house having a beer trying to figure out my next move after a bad hand was dealt to me in a previous business opportunity. I’ve always been a huge beer lover and that night while drinking some beer, the idea of helping the craft beer industry came to mind. The next day I started doing extensive research on the industry and the current market conditions. I came to find out that there was a huge need in the industry for developing marketing strategies that could help breweries sell more beer. After my research, I realized that there was no better way to establish good business relationships other than over a cold beer. Because you know, any good business relationship never starts with a salad. At this point, I made a decision to combine my love for beer and my passion for marketing to help the craft beer industry and that is how the Marketing Brewing Co was born.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
One of the reasons why I love Dallas is because there’s so much to do here! I would probably take them first for a cold beer to one of my favorites breweries in town, ODD Muse Brewery. After that, I’d probably head out to Vector Brewing for more great beer and their “Keep Calm and Curry On” Pizza! I love Mexican food so I’d definitely take him to Uncle Julio’s for some good Mexican food, fresh hand made tortillas, and a few Mexican lagers. We absolutely go downtown and make a stop by Community Beer Co., a quick tour in Deep Ellum, and then head to dinner for some Guatemalan traditional food at San Martin Bakery.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say my wife for standing beside me in the good, bad, and worst times, and supporting me in every decision and risk I take in my life. I would also like to take my parents for unconditional support.
