We had the good fortune of connecting with Omega Stallworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Omega, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I knew from a young age that changing the lives of those around me was something that was important to me. I believe starting my own business gave me the best chance to do that.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have an in-home training and outdoor boot camp business. My mission and goal is to reach as many people as possible through improving their quality of living. I’ve gained experience from so many different places as a collegiate athlete and student. I believe my experiences and the mentors I’ve learned from set me apart from the typical “ get fit quick” salesman. I’ve struggled in many different ways, but the lessons I’ve learned and the knowledge I have gained from my past experiences is what I want to share with others.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I think anyone visiting the Dallas- Fort Worth area should visit the stockyards. There’s such a rich culture, some of the best barbecue, and the world’s largest Honky Tonk to explore !
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I think a friend and a mentor by the name of Ryan Keller deserves a lot of praise for my successes. Getting to know him is how my passion for fitness began to grow. He taught me so much about this career field and I’m extremely appreciative of his guidance.
