We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikitha Pogue and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikitha, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
My passion for helping others and serving is the foundation of my life. One of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced in life is knowing whether to give up or go harder. I’ve learned that your passion is also connected to your purpose so Giving up is NEVER an option. “Perseverance is seeing your hard work pay off after you thought there’s No Way.” Life can be difficult at times especially when you face setback after setback and endless problems make it very hard to stay optimistic and continue to show the resilience you once had. Life’s what we perceive it to be Good or Bad. All that we experience in life is the direct reflection of the energy we feed into. All the things we do, see, overcome or survive will only have significant meaning if we allow it. We are what we repeatedly do, so we must set dedicated times to work on our visions & goals. To live is to be capable of creating change. The tough things in life always seem impossible until we do them. So when things get tough I focus on my goals instead of my fears. If you can dream it you can achieve it; every one of your goals and dreams are WORTH PURSUING.  When you feel like quitting think about why you started. Over time you’ll see sometimes good things fall apart for great things to fall in to place. Our quitting point is usually Gods beginning point and he will always give you the strength to face whatever so just put on your armor and keep fighting because the reward is much greater than giving in to defeat. I Trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, in all my ways I Acknowledge him because he will always makes my path straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My life is yielded to God, my obedience emanated a distinct beauty from within and that sets me apart from others. God’s grace and favor surround a woman who is set apart to selflessly serve. I’m proud of all of my accomplishments throughout this journey from earning 4 degrees to now being an business owner of several businesses and CEO of a nonprofit organization. While there are many things that brought me to this point in life, challenges made me the woman that I am today. I learned valuable lessons along the way and I have always asked myself “if not me who, if not now, when”. Life is not for the faint of heart. Yes it was very hard times but nothing worth having is easily obtained. You have to decide what’s more important to you ; your dreams or your distractions. Being at peace is a learned behavior which starts by Taking a deep breath, praying and watch God move those mountains. Always keep in mind, nothing happens if you don’t get started. God helps only those who help themselves. I had to trust God even when I couldn’t see him working for me. God gave me the strength to survive being molested at the age of 5 & 12. My mother left me at 5 causing me to have abandonment issues that took years to over come. Which also contributed to me becoming a teen mom at the age of 15. My tragedies are now my strengths. After being physically, mentally and emotionally abused as a child and young adult I am now able to use what was bad for good in mentoring and saving others.. I survived 2 domestic abuse marriages filled with violent fights and attacks verbally and physically. I overcame being homeless with my children. I’ve survived the worst possible pain of learning that my daughter was being molested by my ex fiancé whom I trusted while he lived in my home. Only to endure the system failing to give us proper justice as he was sentenced to 20years in jail but released after only serving 2 years. It was At that moment God touched me and lead me to launch my purpose. Each year since that moment God has expanded my territory. The Vision started with Virtuous Queens Ministry. Virtuous Ministry’s Mission is to affectively mentor, teach, minister to and build healthy relationships that foster a active hands on approach conferencing and interventions thru out the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and Nation wide. The goal is to provide a open platform that will encourage women to be bold and SPEAK OUT LOUD as a form of healing and recovery for every woman or man whom have had to overcome life’s toughest storms. My vision is to restore the mind, body and soul of those who have been broken. In 2018 Virtuous Divas Teen Ministry was launched to reach teens ages 13-18 years of age through motivational speaking, radio, various events, living by example and teaching the gospel to those teens who cross my path. In 2019 I launched Virtuous Kingdom Ministry which is our outreach program. We give back to our community in a number of ways from feeding, donating, back to school, heart to heart fellowship that has foster several healing events. In 2021 we will be launching our Men’s Ministry King 2 King Ministry where men from all walks of life will come together to inspire, uplift, encourage and sharpen one another as they get into position to be leaders for our young men in the world. Me and my staff members all have a unique story and special drive to relate to the mission of the ministry. We truly and genuinely are committed to making a difference in people’s lives that otherwise might not have the courage to overcome. My objective is to build a Kingdom of God fearing men & women around the world with the transforming power of God’s love, and my philosophy is God doesn’t chose the qualified – He qualifies the CHOSEN.
