Hi Niki, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process to starting my business was easy. I wanted to be my own boss- and make my own hours. However even though you’re the boss- there’s really not much down time in the beginning. Getting started is a lot of work, planning and overhead. NO DAYS OFF

With over 18y in the cosmetology field, I wanted to bring a brand that was unique and luxury for all my clients. To stand out above the rest.

At Luxe Lash Co we only use TOP QUALITY products and provide luxury services for our clients in a relaxed clean atmosphere.

I have built a well known brand in the North Fort worth area.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a licensed cosmetologist & master lash artist. What sets me apart from all the rest is my passion for what I do and my creative style.

To be honest I got where I am because as soon as I moved to Texas (originally from New York) I hit the ground running! I busted my butt building my brand and marketing myself 24-7. Whether it was social media Or handing out flyers I was doing it. NONE of it was easy. It is always nerve wracking putting yourself out there wondering if people will like or accept you.

One thing I have definitely learned along the way is that not all money is good money. Some people will definitely take advantage of your kindness and your policies. When you work for yourself you must stick to your policies no matter what.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A lot of my friends and former clients come to visit here from New York. Our usual itinerary would be a local brewery and definitely a trip to the stockyards.

We definitely enjoy a night time drinking and dancing at guitars and Cadillacs or the rodeo exchange.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to take a moment to thank my friends. In the beginning they were my original OGs signing up for free lash sets! Without their constant encouragement to keep going I would have quit already. Especially after covid shut downs – that was real hard on a new business.

Secondly my husband – through all my tears and frustration he always pushes me to be my best.
