We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicckay Natson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicckay, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My mantra is an my favorite quote is “We Rise By Lifting Others” what this is saying is that you can’t be successful in life by mishandling, mistreating, acting as if your better or pulling someone else down you only pull yourself down. The seed you sow and plant you will reap it back what you put out will be produced in your own life. You don’t treat the janitor no different than you treat the CEO. I honor others and esteem them higher than myself even if I may have been blessed with more.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business/counseling practice Rejuvenation Counseling Coaching & Consulting LLC is a faith based Tele-Christian Counseling Practice. Where our organization is founded upon the scripture Romans 12: 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will for your life. Here at Rejuvenation Counseling Coaching & Consulting LLC we believe in and practice Christian Psychology. We utilize many methodologies and use the foundation of the word of God to impart wisdom into your life and situation from a biblical perspective. We believe in the mind being renewed and restoring lives and bringing healing to families one soul at at time. We are committed to providing the best tele-christian counseling service possible for our clients where we focus on the individual and not their illness/issue allowing them to live, work and participate in their communities. Tele-counseling represents modern medical care, It allows long-distance patient and clinician contact, care, advice, reminders, education, intervention, monitoring, and remote admissions. Our staff are a qualified group of caring individuals that love what they do. Our staff are certified and licensed as Christian Counselors, and Pastoral Counselors through the National Association of Christian Counselors and the American Association of Christian Counselors. I have learned may things along this journey including my own testimony my testimony is Over a course of 23 years of enduring hardships, pain, being misunderstood, being talked about, falsely accused, rejected and being overlooked, after experiencing childhood trauma, mental and emotional trauma, church trauma and betrayal in the church Dr. Nicckay and her husband wanted to give up because they didn’t feel adequate or that God had gifted them in the same manner as others were gifted. They both felt as if what God put in them wasn’t good enough. This is how people made them feel. After, the Lord delivered her and husband and set them free from the lies that the enemy wanted both of them to believe they were healed mentally, emotionally and in their soul. Dr. Nicckay and her husband both understand because of their experiences and the things they has been through in life. Dr. Nicckay and her husband are genuine and has a love for people and a deep desire to see them healed and set free. Dr. Nicckay loves working with children, teens, families and couples. She is also certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional. Dr. Nicckay is the Professor of the Christian Counseling Department at the Remnant Arising Academy & Training Institute. She is also the President of Remnant Arising Academy & Training Institute. Dr. Nicckay believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s difficulties. Dr. Nicckay tries to help bring families and couples closer to God and each other through therapeutic work, mentorship, coaching and with the help of the Holy Spirit so they can have fulfilling relationships and lives. Her theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are new to the area so my husband and I are still learning. We have been here two months.
