We had the good fortune of connecting with Ngai Ning and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ngai, how does your business help the community?
My business helps the community by providing them with a service they need for their house, it helps them get their package delivered to them correctly. in case of they need a emergency responder, they will easily locate them and get them the help they need. I’m also helping the delivery drivers especially people who do doordash, they told me that it helps them tremendously.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is painting but to help people locate your house, in emergency situations for first responders, it also helps delivery drivers especially food delivery. when you order pizza at night because you forgot to cook dinner. It wasn’t an easy job being where I am today, I had to learn from my mistakes along the way. Not getting customers at the beginning, I was a bit worried that I won’t have enough work to make money because most of the time I was getting nos. But social media was a huge factor in getting customers. I try to not make it harder than it already is. I have learn so many lessons from the people that were already in this business and business owners in general I want the world to know that don’t judge a book by it’s cover. making money with an honest work is good.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There’s so many places in Dallas to explore and i haven’t even went to many of cool spots, I’ve been in Dallas my whole life in America. I’ll say to go to the Reunion Tower or The ATT discovery district, I went there a few time and it’s beautiful place to hangout especially at night. Lakes are also very popular in Dallas, my favorite one is the White Rock Lake in Dallas. For food I don’t really know much because I don’t eat out a lot. maybe I’ll say Bistro B on walnut street in North Dallas, amazing Asian food and boba drinks.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
For that I’ll have to give it to my tiktok followers because they were the one who support me when I was accused of being a scammer in the beginning of my business when I started posting my curb painting videos on tik tok. until now they stick with me and watch my videos. without their likes, comments, and positive messages I won’t be here with over 200k followers on tiktok. And a lot of my customers found me on tiktok and ask me to do their house number around dallas which help me to expand my small business across dallas. I also want to say thank you to my younger brother who started this business with me and help me get things I need for the jobs i have to do. And finally I would like to thank my best friend Zo Joshua thang for working with me until he graduated and got a job. he was there whenever I need him for a project. we created memories along our journey, walking around neighborhood to driving place to place.
