Hi Neal, how do you think about risk?
One of my favorite quotes my mom likes to say is, “You have to risk it for the biscuit”. Risk taking is essential. When it comes to business, no one has ever succeeded without taking risk. My company NOW Property Investments LLC manages numerous flips, rentals, and remodels. Overseeing those projects come with inherent liability aka “risk”.

What should our readers know about your business?
NOW Property Investments LLC is a real estate investment company that gives homeowners options in the sales process. I am most proud of the amount of people we have helped avoid losing their home and giving them an opportunity to start a new life without the burden of lingering debt.
Starting a black owned real estate company was not easy, but through perseverance and continued support we have been able to thrive. We want those that are going through troubling situations to know that we are here to give them options and they are not alone.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am kind of a foodie and DFW is known for their great restaurants so I would make sure I took them to some of my favorites places to eat. Here are some of my top food choices: Sapa House, Tacodeli, La Ventana, Whisk Crepes, Truluck’s, Jonathon’s, and Henderson’s Chicken.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my loving and supportive parents. Unknowingly, growing up my parents showed me that there was more to life than working 50+ hours a week on a job you don’t enjoy and ultimately changing my perception of formal education. Another person that deserves a little credit is my friend Preston. He saw the potential in me and gave me a talk about the opportunities that are available in business that forever changed the trajectory of my life.
