We had the good fortune of connecting with Natoshia Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natoshia, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business idea was sourced by my passion. What is my passion? My passion is staged by my ability to help others. Many people that I’ve met along my career could vouch that I am a “go-to” person when help is needed. Requests often times lead into tasks to which I decided to use to represent the name of my business, Task Manager, LLC. My logo was designed from a farewell gift that was provided to me from colleagues in the form of a hummingbird that was represented in a beautiful card and two statues. Unaware until further research, I discovered that a hummingbird in many cultures means good luck! My career experience is multi-dimensional that has granted my experience that ranges from individual personal development through HR into HR system management for large corporations. I’m a visionary with a “big picture” mindset that I have been so humbled to provide to my clients through my adaptable services.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business was created to be adaptable to meet my client’s needs. For individuals, I have a skills coach program that helps direct individuals to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Small Businesses are provided with a business service program to assist with business formation, website management, social media marketing with many future products in planning. For large and non-profit corporations, services are available by contract based on their need in the areas of management, HR, system implementation management, and training. Becoming a business owner during a pandemic definitely has had its challenges, however, I have been focusing all of my energy towards attending business seminars, taking courses, networking, and creating partnerships to expand my business. The lessons that I’ve learned along the way is to not give up! My passion has been the fuel that is driving my desires to keep going through the highs and lows. Challenges represent an opportunity to learn and it builds your character and sustainability positively to your advantage. My only desire is that my efforts are understood as the bridge connector to reach their maximum potential.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love attending concerts and comedy shows. Singing, dancing, and laughing are definitely outputs that create a barrel of fun. I’m an unpredictable friend that will go off of the grid sometimes to add a new experience under my belt to add to life’s memories. I love staycations at the Omni or the W hotel and then stopping by the Trinity Groves area before stopping by Addison Improv for laughs. My niece Amari Amore is a folk artist and UNT student that more often than not provides a different nightlife experience of the arts as I have attended many concerts within DFW to see her and other upcoming artists perform. I also like to seek events that are published on Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, and Facebook to stay up to date on event offerings within the city!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout in memoriam to my beautiful mother, Ms Julia Payne Lewis. She really was the wind beneath my wings within my life. Her strength while battling pancreatic cancer showed me what faith and living life truly meant. Her passing created a rebirth within my life to re-establish and ask myself, “Who Are You?” That one question started me on my journey to passionately seek life under a completely different lens. My mother’s heartbeat lives on within me and I will continue to encourage and push others including myself to live within your purpose. Know who you are so that you can stand confidently within your purpose. I humbly appreciate Career Coach Talk CEO, Rogers Vigne for the support from one business owner to another. It’s a great opportunity to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs to help with knowledge sharing.
