Meet Natan Sanchez | Film maker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natan Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natan, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
One of the biggest habits that’s helped me succeed is saying yes to opportunities that didn’t necessarily bring immediate money, but built long term relationships and trust. Whether it was helping out on a project, filming something extra, or just showing up when people needed me with those moments created real connections. A lot of my work today comes from those relationships and the trust that grew out of being willing to go the extra mile. That habit of investing in people first has really shaped the way I run my business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Was it easy? Honestly, no. When I first transitioned to working full-time in this field, I reached out to many businesses — real estate agents, gym owners, coffee shop owners — hoping to create content for them. At first, I faced a lot of silence and rejection. My breakthrough came when I started working with a pastor who was also a real estate broker. He taught me the importance of building a unique story and standing out. One of the biggest lessons I learned was to let go of my pride and ego. There were times I was asked to do things outside of my initial scope, like filming extra content for a coffee shop nearby. Even if it seemed small, I realized it helped build trust and relationships. I believe that focusing on genuine connections, rather than just pricing, has been key to my success.
What I’m most passionate about is wedding videography, especially the documentary style. There’s something magical about seeing a story unfold and then bringing it to life in the edit — it’s incredibly rewarding and often emotional. That’s really the heart of my brand and my journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
“My favorite spots around the DFW area include a hidden river in Benbrook where I love to swim, and cozy coffee shops like Summer Moon where I can just chill and chat.”

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
One of my pastor who is a broker for real estate, how he taught me how to build a brand but mostly help me grow the idea that everything has a story.
