We had the good fortune of connecting with Moro & To and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Moro & To, what do you attribute your success to?
Focusing the entire project on doing all the work by hand is what sets us apart and gives value to the pieces. We do not use molds; all the pieces are crafted, painted, and finished by hand.
Each piece is unique; they are never the same, which makes our brand special.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Handmade work always comes with many challenges. From choosing which models were possible to create, everything involved a difficulty. It was months of planning, making samples, and photographing the product.
Achieving a final product with fine details was difficult, but it was worth it because our earrings are unlike any others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Baja California Sur is a very special state, where the desert and the sea coexist in harmony. La Paz is undoubtedly a destination for many outdoor activities. You can visit the most beautiful and untouched beaches, take a whale-watching tour, enjoy the most beautiful hikes, and eat delicious food.
When it comes to beaches, you can’t miss Balandra, El Saltito, and Muertitos.
For hiking, Balandra and Punta Lobos in Todos Santos are a must.
I would recommend visiting the town of Todos Santos.
To see whales, head to Puerto Chale.
For food and drinks in La Paz, I highly recommend not missing out on Tatanka, Tiger Club, and Oyster House.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Moro & To was born from the dream of creating a brand by two sisters. Combining the creative and entrepreneurial mind of one sister with the artistic expertise of the other.
This interview is dedicated to us, with a big round of applause for daring to dream and achieving that dream.
