Hi Mo, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am from Shreveport, Louisiana and grew up in a family of educators. Being immersed in that environment fostered a deep appreciation for the value of education, profoundly influenced my personal growth and the way I approach life’s endeavors. Additionally, I had the incredible opportunity to play basketball at Texas A&M University and also play at the professional level in the WNBA for the San Antonio Silverstars, which further shaped my character, instilled discipline, and honed my teamwork and leadership skills. The combination of my educational background and professional basketball experience has uniquely shaped me into a well-rounded individual, equipped with determination, resilience, and the ability to excel in diverse and challenging situations.

My background in education and basketball equips me with a unique set of skills that greatly benefit me as a realtor. As an educator, I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing me to effectively connect with clients, understand their needs, and articulate complex real estate concepts in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, my experience in the competitive world of professional basketball has instilled in me a relentless work ethic, discipline, and the ability to thrive under pressure. What sets me apart from other realtors is the unique combination of teaching and playing basketball at a high level. This combo gives me a diverse skill set and perspective to my real estate practice. Teaching equipped me with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities that allow me to effectively connect with clients and guide them through complex real estate transactions. Additionally, my experience in professional basketball exhibits my discipline, resilience, and the ability to thrive in competitive environments, which translates as a realtor. This distinct blend of skills and experiences sets me apart, enabling me to provide exceptional service, navigate challenges with ease, and deliver outstanding results for my clients.

Navigating this world was not easy and took some time to master. I face challenges by maintaining a positive mindset, adapting to new situations, utilizing available resources and support, and learning from previous experiences. Embracing challenges with a positive outlook allows me to see these situations as opportunities for personal and professional growth. Remaining flexible and open-minded, being adaptable with my strategies and approaches has really helped me with difficult situations. I proactively seek out resources, support, and guidance from my network, which has helped me recognize the value of collaboration and collective wisdom. Every challenge becomes a chance for me to learn, improve, and build upon my knowledge and skills. With each obstacle I encounter, I face it with determination, resilience, and a commitment to emerging stronger on the other side.

Embarking on a week-long trip with me promises a delightful blend of relaxation, exploration, and indulgence. After arriving, we’ll kick off the journey by unwinding and rejuvenating, understanding the importance of taking it easy after a tiring travel day. Throughout the week, we’ll venture to incredible destinations, ensuring a mix of engaging activities and satisfying culinary experiences.

Our itinerary includes a visit to the PGA Omni Frisco, where we’ll relish in a round of golf and treat ourselves to a rejuvenating spa session. A trip to Legacy West will satisfy our shopping desires while savoring delectable delights at True Food Kitchen. For a truly authentic vegan experience, we’ll delight in the flavors of Bam’s Vegan in Irving, Casa Del Vegano off Jefferson Ave, and the mouthwatering offerings at Wulf Burger in Frisco.

To experience the local culture, we’ll explore the vibrant Farmer’s Market in Dallas. Here we can taste incredible food from locals as well as homemade candles, soaps and jewlery. Let’s immerse ourselves in the rich history showcased at the African American Museum and see Luka and the Dallas Mavericks win at the AA arena. Can’t leave out the NBA G-League Texas Legends basketball games with seats so close, feels like you are running up and down with the referees. For a taste of home, we’ll enjoy comforting, homemade meals that remind us of the simple pleasures.

For a touch of elegance, we’ll savor a 5-course fine dining vegan experience curated by Chef Leo, with exquisite wine pairings, available exclusively only once a month. To keep active, we’ll hit the gym, work out, and even have fun in the batting cages. Nourishing our bodies, we’ll relish healthy options at Flower Child and sip refreshing smoothies at Nektar.

Lastly, we’ll conclude our adventure by ascending the Dallas Reunion Tower Geo Deck, where panoramic views of the city will leave us in awe. Throughout the trip, not only will we explore remarkable places and savor mouthwatering cuisine, but we’ll also create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

I would like to extend a heartfelt shout-out to three remarkable individuals who have played pivotal roles in shaping my journey: my grandma, mom, and coaches. Their unwavering support, guidance, and belief in my abilities have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth. My grandma’s wisdom and nurturing love have instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and resilience. My mom’s unwavering dedication and sacrifice have shown me the true meaning of perseverance and determination.

Lastly, my coaches’ mentorship and guidance have fueled my passion for excellence, pushing me to reach new heights both on and off the court. I am forever grateful for the profound impact these incredible individuals have had on my life, and I carry their lessons and values with me as I navigate my journey forward.
